“Ms. Kagan, Are You Now or Have You Ever Been a Lesbian?”The above pertinent, personal, and principled question will not be asked of the new Supreme Court nominee because no senator has the courage, commitment, and character to ask it, although only a fool or fanatic says the question is illegitimate.
Hovind Still in Prison: Jerks Still in Office!I suggest if an American citizen forgets, overlooks, neglects, refuses, etc., to pay his taxes and ends up in court, he might try to plead the
“Geithner Exception.” After all, if it works for a Patrician, it should work for a peon.
Homosexual Mob Prove they are Fascist Jerks!I’m very weary of seeing perverts strut the streets exposing their venom, vileness, and violence toward all who dare disagree with their lifestyle. Or is that death style?
What Would Happen if there was an Olympics and Nobody Came?On Aug. 10, President Bush attended a registered church just before the opening of the Olympic Games. The Washington
Times reported that Bush was denied permission to visit an unregistered church service or meet with officials of the unregistered church movement.
What Does a Man Have to do to be Disciplined by His Church? What do John Edwards, Bill Clinton, and Jesse Jackson have in common? They all violated their marriage vows, lied, then toyed with a confession. They should be kicked out of their churches!
Must Church Leaders Always Obey the Law?Government is about control, and officials cannot abide ordinary citizens telling them, “No, I won’t obey that law.” According to Francis Schaffer, if you affirm that government must be obeyed under all circumstances then you have made government your god and you are a slave. It amounts to state worship.
Should Government Have Access To Church Records?I’d rather see a religious criminal go free than see the Church of the Living God ravished by secular authorities.
Preachers and Resistance IIIDuring this time, the authorities reached out and gave the church a big hug and the church, liking the unexpected embrace, hugged back. And thus began the love-affair of the ages. The politicians and preachers were now in bed with each other and have been for about 1600 years.
Preachers and Resistance IIPreachers are to be leaders, but many of our leaders are not leading whenever the matter of resistance to authority arises. We must understand that whenever government goes contrary to Scripture, we have no alternative but to obey the Scripture.
Preachers and Resistance IThe scared group will often preach about taking a strong stand as long as they don’t have to be put on the spot and take that stand. They live in cold fear deep in the valley of compromise.
Must we Always Obey Authorities? My heading will make some people angry. They will tell us that, of course, Christians must always obey the authorities, but is that correct? We can gain some insight by knowing what the early Christians did as well as being aware of other scriptural precedents.
